Shadows in White - Exhibition

This is Christopher Ebejer and he is a ceramics sculpture. I visited his exhibition of `Shades in White in the 8 April. This exhibition was in The Historic Palazzo Messina In Valletta. We can see how he can express his passion, creativity and that beautiful detail  that he made tough his work in white ceramics. As an artist he was inspired from various themes but mostly he was inspired form the baroque style.
He is an artist that began from painting and continued studying and found that 3-dimention was his best way that he can express him -self as his best. He designed several work in the cinema but one of the most popular is the work of the horse of Troy the film  `Helen of Troy`.
He works from designs, interiors to fine art.

1 / Teatro Veneziano :
This is one of this work that represent the carnival of Venezia. It shows like a theater or a carnival team. As it is a sculpture it has a very interesting features of light and dark. I also like the way that the fabric is done , it has been made with a lot of technique in my eye that you can even tough that it is real fabric.

2 / Metamorphosis 1 :
This is a wall hanging sculpture that has a very nice effect of how the butterflies are like escaping form the box. It has a feeling of liberty and freedom as I saw it.

3 / Winter Drops :
This one of the best wall hanging piece that I saw in the exhibition. It has a very nice effect in the part from the hair is like flying tough the wind and making the effect of drops in the same time, so it was made in a very interesting way.

4 / The Swan-Lake
This is an other wall hanging piece that shows a swan-lakes that are showing a sense of happiness.
I liked it because it shows a spirit of love between each other as I see it.

5 / Bavaria
As a wall piece it has a two faces that are like two angels and a very detailed designs around that makes it very interesting as a piece.
