Constructivism Architecture :

Constuctivism is a type of art that had began in Russia in the late 1913. This type of art reflects geometric and abstract forms of art , and by that it will reflect his name and his characterized level of technical and perfection. It had been started before the Bolshevik Revolution 1917-1935

This is a type of Architecture of a glass tower that is made by the designer Valdimir Tatin. This Is structure that was made in this movement, in the late 1920- 1930. It was designed for the new socialist regi me in Russia. These used to call the self constructivists because they believe that  the design can be made in constructions. There work used to be in abstract form and used to have a lot of emphasize on geometric forms that are functional.
This designs used to be combined a lot with engineering and technology. These architects wanted to make a different idea trough the human and architecture to developed an innovative  design.
This most famous architecture was never built. This unbuilt project  was called Tatlin`s Tower and it was made with spiral forms so they can reflect to us as the revolution of the people in the World War I. Inside it was going to be made with three glass-walled build units and a cube, pyramid and a cylinder would go around i different speeds. It was going to be about 400 meters long so , it would be bigger than the Eiffel Tower of Paris if you could recombinant them. This was going to cost them a lot of money and would be one of the biggest building. Even that this tower wasn`t been built this design helped the Constructivism movement a lot trough the design.
After 1920 the Constructivism  been spread out alover , so many people used to call them self like them. So after some years they fade away.

Exhibition Of Mr.Chircop

This is a visit in the 8 April made by Mr. Chircop in the Malta tourism Studies.

This is an abstract painting made on canvas. It is made with bright acrylic colors.  In this painting  we can see that in his abstract work we can see faces as you see it in more detail and even figures.
For me this painting is one of the best because usually I don`t like abstract art , but this painting effected be a lot.

In this painting we can see that it is an abstract piece that has a lot of force as a painting.  This type of feeling is build by the color that he used that we made by a lot of thinking. He used different techniques like splashing and strong brush strokes.
As a painting it gives you a lot of life and that`s why this was one of my choosing painting. It shows that the artists wanted to show his feelings.

This painting has a lot of color mixed together in a bright way. He used as a base colors mixed and blended together and then he made splashes with the brush with white color. He didn`t made the splashes every where , but he made them with a thinking to show a strong force as I saw it.

This painting has is like in a forest made in a different abstract way. It has some brush strokes on the right corner  that are made in an interesting way. If you look closely you can see that you can see an animal face. The most interesting thing is that these paintings in every corner you see the image can be different.

In this painting we can see that it has a lot of textures, but it is made like three sections of colors.
One the top he used natural colors we stroke texture and in the middle he used a cerulean blue with a lot of water so he could make that texture.

In the 1848 , there was a revolution in Europe in there social that was known as Chartism, in Britain. Seven men rebellious young men called them self , The Pre-Paphaetlite Brotherhood where artists that where formed in London so then can express them self by creating new British Art. They used to include also other subjects like Nature and literature from the Bible , Shakespeare , like his poems. There name was called from the chief source of inspiration from contemporary paintings. There Art always  translate a sense of sincerity, seriousness and truth trough the nature.

After they had an exhibition in London that showed in the 1849 and many painting where exhibited. There paintings where on canvas and there aim was so they can express there feeling against corruption. There feelings where justice, piety and familiar relationship.

There work was always critical and it was made with there composting of working. They used to use a lot of shadow , Flatten there forms and used to make a wet white ground to coloration. One of there best was the writer John Ruskin. He was a supporter to painting from nature that lead him to Gothic Revival paintings. This type of work was plein-air made with little detail. In the 1850s the brotherhood diapered but some of them remained close friends. When this happened , it appeared new inspiration tough William Morris and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Hector Guimard-Art nouveau

Hector GUIMARD's portrait
Hector Guimard is an architecture, furniture designer and crafts artist. He was born in Lyon, France in 1867 and died in 1942. He studied as a specification in decorative art and architecture in Paris and after he made his own exhibition. Guimard , inspire him self from new architechual theories of that time in the 1800s.

After the first time that he saw the Art nouveau building he began to produce furniture and interior decorations for houses that where a part from his work know.
His architecture and designs work are also characterized as fluid, unusual lines, and vibrant curves . He also liked to inspired him self from nature , shapes contrast of materials like wood and metal and lightning.

One of the most popular projects that he made was The Paris dwelling Castel Beranger , 60 rue La Fontaine [1894-1897].This is in the Paris Metro , which was made in the time of the Word Exposition. The design is one of the finest piece in the metro`art as Art Nouveau. It is made in 1903 and has a different style made by green cast of iron, shaped in curves. By this design Hector Guimard was regarded to the leading expo of this type of new Art that was called The Style of Guimard in France.

This design was a new page for him and it was documented in his portfolio as `L`art dans l`Habitation Moderne` and there is included  the photos and designs of his work from the beginning.

His Art was not a design of usually they where designs that has unusual concept of design in a very brilliant way. He didn't wanted to show details because he didn't want to give importance to that. By his design the Art deco`grew a lot.
In 1938 Hector Guimard emerged to New York , where he died.

Japonisme

In the 60`s begin the Art known as the Japonisme that begin in Western Europe mostly in France. Then in the mid-1800s  the west began using this techqnie also , so there was a lot of places that where using Japonisme  Art. This type of Art was inspired from western Art in the 19 century  , two years after The Crystal Palace was build. There was a shop that was called The Chinese Gate and he used to sold Japanese prints that where made on wood blocks made by artists like Van Gogh, Mary Cassatt, Gauguin, Whisler, Degas, Gustav Klimt and more of the same style.

Many of the Artist where traveling from France to Japan so they can express there painting trough real life. By this there where a lot of media involved by magazines, news-paper and more. This type of Art was very popular and many painter used to paint the background with this style or all the scene.

There painting used to have a distinction of depth and not faded shading. One of the artist that used this type was Manet that was inspired by the Japanese Art. This was made so it can appear a three- dimensional. They also used to make wrong symmetry and emphasize on flatness.
I think that  the most influence part of this element is how the artist  emphasis on  nature and recording it in a way that the painters never made.

One of the most important painting and the one that I like the most is this painting that is The Eagle Flying over the Fukagama District. This is a scene of winter time that  captured a bird  that has bright blues and whites colors. There is also snow-topped and mountains in the back  made a lines. He emphasize on the flatness on the lake to show that the lake is frozen  and made the top darker. He made this effective with the tones of blue but mostly amazing part for me is the part of the top where he made a lot of dietel on the eagle that catch your eyes for the first time you see it. I think that as a hole painting it is beautiful.

Here we can see that Japonisme Art is not only made on wooden blocks but also on ceramics. Thing that are used in every day life painted on objects as 3-D form.

The Crystal Palace and The Great Exhibition

In the Mid-nineteenth century in 1851 there was The Great International Exhibition in london, this was made to show the industrial , military and economic to give more importance to the Great Britain. Even The building that had been built for this Great Exhibition was brilliant with the engineering. We can see that this design was inspired by The Victorian Architecture and Moorish designs. As an original  sketch it was made by Sir Joseph Paxton`s and a design had an enfecy on the construction of the roof that was made with glass and iron vaulted.

The Great Exhibition was a history from the start because it was made in a very short time. This was made by Henry Cole , he was a member of the Society of Art  but then he stopped and begin supporting Sir Robert Peel.To attract the people Cole got Prince Albert back to the royal in the 1851 and told them that is was his idea , and by that they will attract more people. Even this wasnt the Prince idea it helped because he was a dedicated person to his word and hard-working man. There was an expert that talked in a speech in march 1850 to reach some support so they can continue in The Exhibition.
Illustrated plate taken from Dickinsons Comprehensive Pictures of The Great Exhibition (1854)

This exhibition was made so they can make better level of industrial production in bigger markets. It was open in Hyde Park for five months and fifteen days and it was the biggest exhibition in the history. There was about six million people that has visited and they came to see some of the inovitev machines by fourteen thousand exhibitors that where made into sections.

When they first opened this exhibition they had a high price and after a month they lowered it a bit and that`s why they had a lot of visits . After a century and a half they took about £506,100, one third of the expenses that they made to build the Crystal Palace and to make the exhibition.
