Hector Guimard-Art nouveau

Hector Guimard is an architecture, furniture designer and crafts artist. He was born in Lyon, France in 1867 and died in 1942. He studied as a specification in decorative art and architecture in Paris and after he made his own exhibition. Guimard , inspire him self from new architechual theories of that time in the 1800s.  

After the first time that he saw the Art nouveau building he began to produce furniture and interior decorations for houses that where a part from his work know. 
His architecture and designs work are also characterized as fluid, unusual lines, and vibrant curves . He also liked to inspired him self from nature , shapes contrast of materials like wood and metal and lightning.

One of the most popular projects that he made was The Paris dwelling Castel Beranger , 60 rue La Fontaine [1894-1897].This is in the Paris Metro , which was made in the time of the Word Exposition.The design is one of the finest piece in the metro`art as Art Nouveau. It is made in 1903 and has a different style made by green cast of iron, shaped in curves. By this design Hector Guimard was regarded to the leading expo of this type of new Art that was called The Style of Guimard in France. 

This design was a new page for him and it was documented in his portfolio as `L`art dans l`Habitation Moderne` and there is included  the photos and designs of his work from the beginning.

His Art was not a design of usually they where designs that has unusual concept of design in a very brilliant way. He didn't wanted to show details because he didn't want to give importance to that. By his design the Art deco`grew a lot. 
In 1938 Hector Guimard emerged to New York , where he died.
