Romanticism

The Romanticism represent a style of taught of emotion and Imagination, Individualism and Rebellion. As a period is a rebellious one throughout several rules. This time is called the romantic period. They had the influence from music mostly, because it shows that the romantic composers had freedom of expression, movement, passion, and a lot of fantasy and imagination. So by this they influence they expresed them self with painting what they where going through emotions and expressing there feelings.

As a techniques this style they used to paint the paintings and not be finshed so they will be usually sketches some part of them. They used to paint landscape, nature and characters that were generally well of.
Romanticism was mostly important between 1800 and 1850. It was very important that time because was a time of a lot of feelings like wars. People used to show spectacular and mystical life of how the people`s life was.

One of the important artist was from France and it was Delacroix. He used to work as well sketchy paintings and unfinsed pieces. This is one of the most popular painting that time that was The liberty of The leading People.

This painting  was made in the French Revolution that is showing the woman carrying the flag of the French and onward people fallen near her.
This was inspired from the Liberty of New York statue.









There was an other famous artist that was Turner`s work that is very similar to Delacroix work because the two of them are romanticism artists.


Casper Frederick was a German painter that was a great artist that shows feelings in this paintings. He had a tough childhood because of the death  of his mother in  his early life.
This painting is well-known as a masterpiece of the romanticism. We do not see his face so it is impossible to know this facing but we can see that he is terrifying.
